STUDIO LOCATION

The studio is a large brick and flint barn built in the mid-nineteenth century. The conversion has been carried out with great care and has been meticulously planned with emphasis on space, comfort and all aspects of Health and Safety. Provision has been made so that each student has use of their own dedicated equipment.

Located in tranquil Hertfordshire countryside, the studio borders the beautiful Hatfield Park Estate and provides the perfect setting in which to relax and learn the art of Porcelain Restoration.

The magnificent Jacobean Hatfield House, Knebworth House.

St Albans with it's fine Abbey, Verulamium and the Gardens of the Rose. The Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge is also home to the Chinese vases recently shattered by a visitor and now restored.

London’s Portobello Road Market, The Victoria and Albert Museum, Camden Lock Market and Covent Garden are only a 20 minute train journey away. Local auctions and antiques fairs.
